Program Overview

The dual degree in environmental and science communication is a collaboration between Environment and Ecology and the School of Media and Journalism. It is approached through the bachelor s of arts degree with a major in environmental studies, and students then complete a master s degree in journalism. For the environmental science communication program, students must complete the undergraduate requirements for the B.A. degree in environmental studies and the graduate requirements for the M.A. degree in mass communication as separate degrees.
