The MA in History provides highly-motivated students with the opportunity to focus their studies on the history of the United States and of the Atlantic World under the direction of faculty. As MA students, they work in graduate seminars and upper-level undergraduate courses, and participate in individually-designed tutorials under the direction of a faculty advisor. By undertaking intensive research in primary sources in the undergraduate Honors Program during their senior year, MA students are prepared to complete the master s degree no later than August of their fifth year.
Proof of English proficiency TOEFL iBT (85 or higher overall and 15 or higher on every section), or IELTS (6.5 or higher overall and 6.0 or higher on every section), Two letters of recommendation, Test scores, Personal statement. An overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.40 on a 4.00 scale. Be a full-time undergraduate student for a minimum of 24 academic units at Clark.
