Program Overview

The BS/MS in Chemistry is an accelerated program that allows Students to complete their Undergraduate and Graduate degree at the same time. In this program , Students study how to describe the structure, composition and properties of various chemical substances, plan the synthesis of various inorganic and organic substances, characterize substances based upon analysis of their physical and chemical properties, use theories of microscopic properties to explain macroscopic behavior, explain the role of energy in determining structure and reactivity and employ chemical theory to explain the rate and outcome of chemical reaction. Finally Students analyze how to improve their core skill sets in Chemistry like conducting meaningful and successful experiment, communicating results, thinking critically and applying ethical reasoning
