Program Overview

Operating Room Technician; is a health official who provides assistance in such work as the preparation of the equipment used in the operating room for surgery, the provision of equipment for the surgical team, the making of the operating room suitable for surgery and the provision of practical support. This program is one that has been established within Vocational Schools of Health in an attempt to have skilled technicians for the operation rooms widely available in our country. The aim of the program is to educate operating room tehnicians capable of answering for the need for skilled technical staff.

Successfully Complete the designated program of courses meeting a Minimum of 120 ECTS credits requirement and have a Minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) of 2.00/4.00 and no F1, F2 or E grades and required to participate in a 30 days of internship programme, Official high school transcripts, 2 Letters of recommendation, Statement of purpose, Copy of valid Passport, Registration Letter, Health Certificate, Foreign Nationals Exam that is given by Ba kent University and the ones accepted by Ba kent, GCE General Certificate Education, Cambridge International A Level, SAT CR+CW+M: minimum score of 1000 out of 1600 writing included, International Baccalaureate:At least 24 diploma score out of 45, International science olympaids: Having a gold, silver or bronze medal from the International Science Olympiads recognized by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, West African examination council:Minimum 3 subjects in the related area of the applied program for 5 subjects with at least 25 points in total
