Program Overview

Industrial Raw Materials Processing Technology Program aims to train expert labor force who can work as a technician to meet the changing and developing needs of the sector. Upon completion of the basic courses, emphasis is given to the courses related to the field. The applications of the courses are carried out through on-site training in cooperation with the sector. In order to support and reinforce the knowledge taught in the textbooks in the program, a summer internship with 30 working days and workplace practical training for 16 weeks is compulsory. Graduates of the department have the opportunity to transfer to the programs which are educated with formal or distance education system in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the continuation of undergraduate education of the graduates of Vocational Schools and Open Education Associate Programs.

Additional Information & Requirements

Successfully Complete the designated program of courses meet a Minimum of 120 ECTS credit requirement and have a Minimum GPA of 2.00/4.00 and no F1, F2, E or S grades. Program also requires 30 days of practical training, Official high school transcripts, 2 Letters of recommendation, Statement of purpose, Copy of valid Passport, Registration Letter, Health Certificate, Foreign Nationals Exam that is given by Ba kent University and the ones accepted by Ba kent, GCE General Certificate Education, Cambridge International A Level, SAT CR+CW+M: minimum score of 1000 out of 1600 writing included, International Baccalaureate:At least 24 diploma score out of 45, International science olympaids: Having a gold, silver or bronze medal from the International Science Olympiads recognized by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, West African examination council:Minimum 3 subjects in the related area of the applied program for 5 subjects with at least 25 points in total
