Program Overview

The Child Development program was established to meet the educational and counseling needs of children with special needs, sick and at risk who normally develop in our country in line with the best interests of the child. The aim of the program is to develop educational programs to support the development of children with special needs and in need of protection and to provide consultancy and publication services (in line with their needs) to individuals, institutions and organizations in the field; The aim of this course is to educate qualified professionals for all units that provide services to child, family and society in the field of child development and education, which can develop projects by using contemporary approaches about children, family, educator and society.

Additional Information & Requirements

Completed all the courses of the program they have enrolled, fulfilled 30 working days of internship and other obligations, have Completed at least 120 ECTS credits, Achieved a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, and do not have an F1 or F2 grade. Students whose GPA is below 2.00 for 3 consecutive semesters lose their scholarships, Official high school transcripts, 2 Letters of recommendation, Statement of purpose, Copy of valid Passport, Registration Letter, Health Certificate, Foreign Nationals Exam that is given by Ba kent University and the ones accepted by Ba kent, GCE General Certificate Education, Cambridge International A Level, SAT CR+CW+M: minimum score of 1000 out of 1600 writing included, International Baccalaureate:At least 24 diploma score out of 45, International science olympaids: Having a gold, silver or bronze medal from the International Science Olympiads recognized by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, West African examination council:Minimum 3 subjects in the related area of the applied program for 5 subjects with at least 25 points in total
