Program Overview

Biomedical Equipment Technology program offers a period of two years technical education on biomedical technology. Students are selected among graduates high schools regarding the scores Achieved in Fundamental Proficiency Test TYT which is held by Assessment Selection and Placement CenterOSYM. The program has quota for40 students each year. 4 of the students are given full scholarship , 30 of the students are given 50% scholarship, 4 of the students are given 25% scholarship and 2 students are without scholarship. The curriculum includes courses infundamental sciences, theoretical electric and electronics as well as practical applications, elective courses to improve skills in professional field or other fields. Furthermore, students are required to participate in a 30 days of internship in appropriate organizations.4 full time teaching staff is working in our department. Additional teaching staff from Engineering faculty also gives lectures in our program.

Additional Information & Requirements

Successfully Complete the designated program of courses meet a Minimum of 120 ECTS credit requirement and have a Minimum GPA of 2.00/4.00 and no F1, F2, K or Z FF, DZ YZ grades. This program requires 30 days of practical training, Official high school transcripts, 2 Letters of recommendation, Statement of purpose, Copy of valid Passport, Registration Letter, Health Certificate, Foreign Nationals Exam that is given by Ba kent University and the ones accepted by Ba kent, GCE General Certificate Education, Cambridge International A Level, SAT CR+CW+M: minimum score of 1000 out of 1600 writing included, International Baccalaureate:At least 24 diploma score out of 45, International science olympaids: Having a gold, silver or bronze medal from the International Science Olympiads recognized by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, West African examination council:Minimum 3 subjects in the related area of the applied program for 5 subjects with at least 25 points in total
