The Associate degree programs in Computer Information Systems (CIS) focus on developing employable technologists. Monroe teaches students to apply what they have learned and to be adaptable in a constantly changing technological world. The curriculum focuses on developing four important competencies: technical skills, business skills, industry experience and certifications. The program is geared to respond to new technologies, such as wireless communications, 3D virtual reality networks, grid processing and cryptography.
