Program Overview

Construction Management combines the studies of business, project management and construction. Construction Managers work directly with government officials and project subcontractors, from architects and engineers to plumbers and painters, to manage the planning, design and construction of a project from beginning to end. Construction Managers plan projects, estimate and manage costs, hire technical building experts, schedule and coordinate work, monitor quality and safety and ensure projects deliver within deadline and budget.Part of Shoreline's General Transfer program, this Major-Related Program includes specific courses to fulfill the requirements of the Associate in Arts -- Direct Transfer Agreement (AA-DTA) and leads to a specialized degree.
