You’ll also build your professional habits with the Safety Induction Program and Academic Integrity and Respect units.

Year 2: This year focuses on the practical and financial side of construction. You’ll discover how modern structures are built in Making the Modern World, manage budgets in Construction Finance, and explore safety and environmental considerations in Building Safety and Building Environmental Studies. You’ll also tackle real project work in Construction Projects 2, preparing you for hands-on industry challenges.

Year 3: You’ll combine creativity and management as you advance your design skills in Architecture Design Studio 03: Earthscapes and Publicscapes, while learning to estimate costs and manage contracts in Building Measurement, Contract Administration 1, and Project Management 1. This year bridges your design ideas with real-world construction planning.

Year 4: You’ll refine your communication and documentation skills in Architecture Communication 03: Documentation, deepen your understanding of contemporary design in Contemporary Architecture, and sharpen your construction management expertise with Project Management 2 and Building Measurement and Estimating. These experiences prepare you to confidently lead projects from concept to completion.
