Deakin s Environmental Science (Honours) provides you with exposure to a range of possible career paths and a deep understanding of your chosen discipline through research exploration in areas including environmental Management and sustainability; ecological risk assessment, wildlife and conservation biology; behaviour, ecology, evolution, and, ecophysiology; Marine and freshwater biology; and fisheries and aquaculture.
A Bachelor degree or major in a related discipline with a WAM (Weighted Average mark) of at least 65% in all level 3 and level 4 units (for Deakin awards) or final year units (for awards from other providers) OR Other evidence of academic capability judged to be equivalent, Certified copies: Award certificates, Academic transcripts, Formal identity papers (e.g. your passport), Evidence of ongoing residence and employment (in a role requiring proficient English) for a period of 5 years or more within Australia, Submission of a portfolio of work, references, personal statement or supplementary Information form, Overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 (or equivalent), Completed the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or another type of qualification taught in English, Lived and worked in an English speaking country for at least five years
