Program Overview

You'll conduct fieldwork in some fascinating ecosystems including arid, coastal and forested areas to put the theory you're learning into practice. You'll learn about the management, conservation and rehabilitation of our natural and degraded ecosystems. Areas to explore include ecology and wildlife, water and climate, mine site rehabilitation, landscape management and restoration with a strong focus on the Australian environment. Your electives are just as practical and stimulating, with subjects available including mine site rehabilitation, landscape restoration, fire ecology and land and water contamination. There is an emphasis on developing professional skills encouraged and required by industry and government departments.
