This degree increases your employment prospects by enabling you to gain expertise in two different areas of interest. You will learn from world-class educators and researchers1 and benefit from our state-of-the-art learning facilities, including the Multimedia Languages Lab where you can connect in real-time with native speakers from around the world. There is also the opportunity for you to gain global experience as part of the Hawke Ambassador International Volunteer Experience. You will also connect with the Research Centre for Languages and Cultures (RCLC). As a student studying the Languages major you will embark on an in-depth study of French, Italian, Japanese or English (for non-English speaking students). You will also be given the opportunity to immerse yourself in your chosen language and culture through our exchange and in-country study programs.
