- Internships and WIL placements: Up to 200 hours with partners like ABC, Edelman, Cre8ive, ACT Government, Brumbies, Crux Media, and Seven West Media, giving you CV-ready experience in content production and professional workflows.


- Group projects and collaborations: Work on live briefs with peers and industry pros, publishing real content for The Owl (our journalism masthead) or UCFM, plus planning social media campaigns and multimedia storytelling.


- Professional studios and digital tools: Access TV studio, editing suites, green room, VA booth, audio/visual studios, and Media Resource Centre for hands-on production with industry-standard gear and current digital technologies.


- Practical media production: Create for real platforms at UCFM radio, write multi-platform journalism, and use data analytics for audience engagement—no generic labs, just comms-focused facilities built for your success.
