Program Overview

This degree prepares you for a career in the health and food industry, where you will be involved in developing innovative foods, promoting and managing diets and lifestyles, and conducting research for enhanced wellbeing. The on-campus facilities are state-of-the-art, in fact, we have a dedicated nutrition and food science hub that is home to a $1 million commercial kitchen, sensory laboratory (one of only a few in Australia) and microbiology laboratory. You will also learn from award-winning academics, and get a taste of what it s like to work in the food and nutrition space when you attend field trips to some of the state s major nutrition and food providers.

Additional Information & Requirements

Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), obtain a competitive ATAR,meet any prerequisite requirements with a minimum grade of C, Complete secondary education qualifications equivalent to SACE/ Complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum score of 24 points/ Complete or partly complete a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution/ Complete at least four Open Universities Australia (OUA) courses at undergraduate level or above/ Complete an award from a registered training organisation at Certificate IV level or above/ Qualify for Special Entry/Complete a University Foundation Studies program, IELTS 7.0 in each componenet, India (best 4) at 80, TOEFL iBT of 94 with Reading and Writing not less than 18, CAE/CPE of 186, PTE of 65, CELUSA AE6
