Curriculum structure:

Year 1
In the first year, students build a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, computing, and scientific investigation through subjects such as Mathematics for Engineering, Science and Technology 1, Mathematics for Engineering, Science and Technology 2, Introduction to Programming, and Fundamentals of Statistics. They also develop practical laboratory and scientific communication skills through Multidisciplinary Laboratories.

Year 2
In the second year, students strengthen their mathematical reasoning and analytical skills through courses such as Mathematical Modelling, Calculus of Science and Engineering, and Linearity and Continuity 1. Depending on their chosen science major, they begin specialised study in areas such as environmental science, chemistry, biology, geography, earth science, physics, or psychology.

Year 3
In the third year, students move into advanced mathematical and scientific applications through subjects such as Linearity and Continuity 2, Predictive Analytics, and discipline-specific courses within their science major. This stage focuses on applying mathematical techniques to analyse scientific data and solve complex real-world problems.

Year 4
In the final year, students complete advanced studies and professional preparation through Work Integrated Learning for Mathematical Sciences or Work Integrated Learning for the Sciences. They further develop research capability, industry experience, and practical problem-solving skills through advanced coursework and applied projects.
