Bachelor of Arts with a major in Development Studies and Culture Change

3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

Macquarie University

Program Overview

Since World War II the aim of 'development' has been to ensure that Third World nations take their place in the global community and have an equal voice. However, as the world has moved forward and organisations and governments have evolved, initiatives to help developing nations may have fallen short of their goals, or even done more harm than good. This major develops skills to analyse the intentions and results of international development initiatives, and develops significant theoretical, practical and research skills that can be applied to employment in a range of roles.
