An honours year in psychology is useful for both those pursuing a career as a psychologist, and those preparing for postgraduate study.
A degree from Deakin with an approved three-year sequence in psychology or Deakin University s Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science, A minimum of a mid-credit (65%) in Research Methods B or equivalent unit, and will be ranked for selection on the basis of their level-2 and level-3 Psychology core units (including Research Methods B), Certified copies: Award certificates, Academic transcripts, Formal identity papers (e.g. your passport), Evidence of ongoing residence and employment (in a role requiring proficient English) for a period of 5 years or more within Australia, Evidence of: Completion or partial completion of a formal academic qualification, attained no more than 10 years before to application; and/or Other evidence of learning or capability that may be associated with work or life experience within the last 10 years, Submission of a portfolio of work, references, personal statement or supplementary Information form, Overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 (or equivalent), Completed the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or another type of qualification taught in English, Lived and worked in an English speaking country for at least five years
