Curriculum Structure

Year 2: Develop more advanced production skills and explore areas such as cinematography, directing, producing, post-production and script development, with opportunities to shape your studies around your creative interests.

Year 3: Bring your skills together through collaborative and professional screen projects, including opportunities to work on real-world briefs, develop portfolio-ready work and showcase projects to industry audiences.

Focus Areas: Filmmaking, directing, cinematography, screenwriting, producing, editing, sound production, documentary, television, post-production, virtual production and extended reality (XR).

XR Screen Futures Hub: Explore emerging technologies including virtual production, extended reality (XR), animation and motion capture, gaining experience with new ways of creating screen content.
Collaborative Projects: Work with other creative students on productions across documentary, drama, television, experimental film and digital platforms, building the teamwork skills expected on professional sets.
