Program Overview

The focus of Slavonic Studies is the Slavic language and cultural area with 15 languages and approx. 290 million speakers. The Russian language forms the core of the Bachelors in Slavonic Studies. Previous knowledge of Russian is not required. Until the completion of the study programme, students reach the level B2 according to the Common European Framework or Reference. Moreover, the programme conveys basic knowledge of a second Slavonic language (Bosnian/Croatian/Servian, Polish).
