The bachelor s programme in Chinese Studies at the University of Vienna aims at imparting basic knowledge of modern standard Chinese and fundamental knowledge in three areas of specialisation: Chinese history and society, Chinese literature and culture, as well as Chinese politics, law and economics since the beginning of the 20th century.
