The main aim of the bachelor program is to ensure that the students gain the required basic learning outcomes within the major subdisciplines in biology, as well as other basic sciences. This is addressed at three levels at which it is envisioned to attain the attitudes essential for creative knowledge development and supervised problem oriented thinking and acting.Bachelors of Biology are offered an extensive foundation in supporting fields of study including mathematics, physics, geology, general chemistry and general biology which are identical for bachelor students from, related scientific study programmes (chemistry, biochemistry and biotechnology).
