The training programme aspires to offer students ready and insightful knowledge of archaeology as a scientific discipline in the widest possible sense of the term:to have a due understanding of contemporary developments in the field of archaeology as a scientific discipline, both on a discipline-specific level as well as in terms of town and country planning and archaeological heritage;to have a due command of the methods and techniques used to collate, document, analyse and process archaeological remains in a self-reliant, modern and scientific manner.
