If you are not sure which major you would like to pursue, you can take an Undeclared major. This enables you to take a variety of classes to determine exactly where your interests lie. Once you are ready to declare your major, visit the Arts Student Services Office or complete the Declaration or Change of Major/Minor form.

If you are not sure what Arts topic you want to major in, you can select an Undeclared major for your first year, during which time you should consider up to three choices for major, taking courses pertaining to each. After your first year, you can then declare your major without falling behind in that program. This Undeclared major is taken as part of a Bachelor of Arts degree. Augustana also offers an Undecided major as part of a Bachelor of Science degree.
