Program Overview

The program trains theater professionals at play, in scenography, theater studies and teaching. The training begins with core courses combining theory and practice of the technical and artistic aspects of theater. A second step allows to deepen this knowledge and skills within a concentration: play, scenography and theatrical studies. In the final stage, the student applies his skills during productions, internships and synthesis activities.

Additional Information & Requirements

At least thirteen (1) years of schooling or the equivalent, a proficiency in French attested by one or more of the following tests: the Uniform French Test required to obtain the DEC, the Department's written French Test or the written French test of UQAM, Hold a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) or equivalent, o be at least 21 years old and to have made theater and / or have taught dramatic literature or forms of drama
