Program Overview

This route allows you to combine the energy, intuitiveness, and hands-on approach of the fine arts with the more structural and logical processes used by visual communication designers. Their expansive Printmaking studio allows you to work with lithography, woodcut, collograph, lino-cut, and other relief methods, as well as silkscreen printing. You will expand your range and abilities as a designer as you learn valuable lessons from the printmaking process, which allows interaction with imagery from conception to the final production stage.

Spoken English Proficiency: TOEFL: 26 OR IELTS (Academic); 7.5 OR SPEAK Test: 50 OR Six full-time years of education in English in Canada or the equivalent in another country where English is the principal language (excluding ESL): If secondary education is the highest level completed or if combination of secondary and post-secondary education is used; Alberta Grade 12 (or equivalent).
