The bachelor of fine arts (BFA) with a major in music is a flexible program that offers several options for the music student to pursue an interest in composition or electroacoustic music. The program takes full advantage of the opportunities to experience and study other art forms that are provided in the School for the Contemporary Arts. Students whose interest in music is related primarily to its historical, critical, or theoretical aspects should consider the Visual Culture and Performance Studies major program which leads to a bachelor of arts degree. A 4-year bachelor s degree with a minimum overall grade of B, First Class or First Division in all degrees, GPA of 3.0 (on a scale of 0.0-4.33) or the equivalent, First Class or First Division in all degrees, TOEFL ibT of 93 with minimum of 20 in each category, IELTS of overall band score of 7.0 of the academic (NOT general) test with a minimum of 6.5 in each section
