Program Overview

Today there is a demand for designers who have an understanding of both computing science and the human requirements of users. Students will explore the centrality of design to all aspects of computing and learn how to analyze the needs of users and work with computer scientists to create user-friendly systems. This program gives you the opportunity to learn the fundamental principles and concepts of computing science as well as the basic framework that computing scientists and software developers work within.

Spoken English Proficiency: TOEFL: 26 OR IELTS (Academic); 7.5 OR SPEAK Test: 50 OR Six full-time years of education in English in Canada or the equivalent in another country where English is the principal language (excluding ESL): If secondary education is the highest level completed or if combination of secondary and post-secondary education is used; Alberta Grade 12 (or equivalent).
