Program Overview

In general, chemical engineering aims to turn a problem into an opportunity. With so-called problematic materials, the engineer will produce materials useful for society. The engineer or the chemical engineer will start syntheses done in laboratory to make processes applicable in industry, safe and respectful for the environment. It is involved, for example, in the production of fuels and biofuels, in the extraction and refining of metals and in the manufacture of a wide variety of essential chemicals in all industrial sectors. The UdeS baccalaureate is structured in such a way as to optimize the integration of knowledge as well as preparation for the 5 internships.
