TWU offers diverse and thought provoking courses and experiences to arm students with the skills and know how to make a contribution on the international stage. Linguistics is the study of language and how it is used in any society in the world. The courses teach the crucial skills needed for learning and describing languages, even those which are unwritten. These skills include the recognition and pronunciation of non-English speech sounds, alphabet formation, and the description of grammars and systems of meaning and beliefs. Courses are based on proven techniques drawn from decades of research in hundreds of languages of the world.
School Certificate: same as GCE with at least two passes at the principal level of the Higher School Certificate, Certificate of matriculation from recognized universities, International Baccalaureate with at least two subjects at the higher level, TOEFL Overall Score: 88 with a minimum score of 21 in each of the four areas and a TWE of at least 5, IELTS Overall score: 6.5 with 6.0 on Writing Band, CAEL Overall score: 70, IB with at least two subjects at the higher level
