Program Overview

The BSc in Forest Business Management program, offered jointly by the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences and the Alberta School of Business, prepares you for a management career in the forestry industry. You ll learn to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges in forest and land management, and you ll also have the opportunity to attend a three-week field school, where you will learn first-hand about forestry operations. This degree will also prepare you to become a Registered Professional Forester.

Spoken English Proficiency: TOEFL: 26 OR IELTS (Academic); 7.5 OR SPEAK Test: 50 OR Six full-time years of education in English in Canada or the equivalent in another country where English is the principal language (excluding ESL): If secondary education is the highest level completed or if combination of secondary and post-secondary education is used; Alberta Grade 12 (or equivalent).
