Program Overview

Bachelor of Science in Forestry degree in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences will prepare you for a dynamic career in forestry and related industries. You ll learn forest management techniques, including the protection and use of forested areas, while ensuring sustainability and other social and cultural needs are met. You ll also have the opportunity to participate in a field school where you will learn first-hand about forestry operations. This program also prepares you to become a Registered Professional Forester (RPF).

Spoken English Proficiency: TOEFL: 26 OR IELTS (Academic); 7.5 OR SPEAK Test: 50 OR Six full-time years of education in English in Canada or the equivalent in another country where English is the principal language (excluding ESL): If secondary education is the highest level completed or if combination of secondary and post-secondary education is used; Alberta Grade 12 (or equivalent).
