At Augustana, Modern Languages is a two-language major, where you will choose two of the four available languages: French, German, Norwegian, and Spanish. This is an immersion program that provides opportunities for active participation and studying abroad. Apart from gaining fluency in other languages, travelling, and encountering other cultures, you will also develop writing, public speaking, and critical-thinking skills, which will serve you in pursuing further studies or in virtually any career.
