Program Overview

Through French Studies, students can master a second language and gain an invaluable advantage, especially in the Canadian workforce. Students will gain a varied and comprehensive course of study including courses in language training, linguistics, the literatures and the cultures of the francophone world. By adding the Modern Languages program and focusing on Italian, students will be able to explore a third language, the process of language acquisition, and the culture associated with it. No prior knowledge of Italian is required. Our Year Abroad option is offered to students taking one language, with exchange opportunities in Italy.

Online Application for Undergraduate International Students, confirmation e-mail message of your application, all marksheets/transcripts from your last 4 years of high school, Proof of English language proficiency - A minimum score of 6.5 on IELTS, or A minimum score of 60 on CAEL, or A minimum score of 85 on the MELAB, or A minimum score of 83 with an essay score of 20 on the Internet-based Test of TOEFL.
