Program Overview

The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Lethbridge strives to prepare excellent Nursing graduates by fostering the development of innovative clinical decision making, diagnostic reasoning, interpersonal skills, leadership behaviours, and technical knowledge and skills. The Bachelor of Nursing program provides graduates with sound knowledge from the humanities, biological, social and psychological and nursing sciences, including knowledge of the particular health challenges with elderly, rural, and aboriginal populations. The Faculty of Health Sciences offers two programs leading to the Bachelor of Nursing degree: Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing After an Approved Degree.

An official transcript is a complete academic record of all individual courses taken, grades achieved, and any credential(s) earned at an educational institution, IELTS test with a minimum overall score of 6.0, and a minimum 6.0 in each band, PTE Academic score with a minimum overall score of 54, CAEL Assessment with a minimum overall score of 60, a minimum of 50 in each of Listening, Reading, and Speaking, and a minimum of 60 in Writing, 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT), with minimum scores of 16 in each of Listening, Reading, and Speaking, and a minimum score of 18 in Writing.
