This program provides you with an understanding of and appreciation for the importance of physical activity as it relates to health, fitness, and well being throughout one s lifespan, with an emphasis on biological, psychological, and sociological factors. This major is taken as part of a Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKin) degree, which takes an interdisciplinary approach to the study of human movement, examining both the arts-based and science-based aspects of Kinesiology and allows you to specialize in an area of study.

Spoken English Proficiency: TOEFL: 26 OR IELTS (Academic); 7.5 OR SPEAK Test: 50 OR Six full-time years of education in English in Canada or the equivalent in another country where English is the principal language (excluding ESL): If secondary education is the highest level completed or if combination of secondary and post-secondary education is used; Alberta Grade 12 (or equivalent).
