This focuses on applying quantitative and computational methods to the physical, life and social sciences. You'll gain a base in mathematical theory, and go on to develop your programming and computing skills to create models in science and technology. The Applied Mathematics program in the Faculty of Science includes a range of courses from mathematics, statistics, computing and physics. You can start this program at the Surrey campus.
Competence in Quantitative and Analytical skills, a minimum of 50% in Senior Mathematics for admission (based on a 35% pass scale), All India Senior School Certificate / Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) / India School Certificate (12 year), transcript which includes interim standard XII level marks, TOEFL iBT of 88 with 20 in each of the four components , IELTS of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0, CAEL of 70, PTE Academic with an overall score of 65, and a minimum score of 60 in the Communicative Skills, including: Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing, each lower division required course in mathematics and statistics, or its equivalent, with a minimum C+ grade, ACMA 101 and ACMA 210 with a minimum grade of C- and have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 3.0
