Program Overview

Augustana is one of the only schools in Canada that offers a dual degree in Mathematics and Physics two of the most fundamental scientific disciplines. By taking this combined major, you do not have to choose between the two. Innovative teaching methods are used throughout the program and senior courses can often be customized to your interests. This major is taken as part of a Bachelor of Arts degree. Mathematics and Physics can also be taken as part of a Bachelor of Science degree. The BA program does not require the same supporting courses in the other sciences as the BSc program.

Spoken English Proficiency: TOEFL: 26 OR IELTS (Academic); 7.5 OR SPEAK Test: 50 OR Six full-time years of education in English in Canada or the equivalent in another country where English is the principal language (excluding ESL): If secondary education is the highest level completed or if combination of secondary and post-secondary education is used; Alberta Grade 12 (or equivalent).
