The study of philosophy enables you to think clearly about key life questions: Does life have a purpose Why obey the law Does God exist And more. It can also help you answer more prosaic questions, such as what career path to follow or which candidate to support in the next election. As part of your philosophy studies, you examine influential ideas and great literature and learn how to use them as a starting point for your own thinking. You find out to avoid common mistakes in reasoning and express ideas clearly and logically.
Must completed the equivalent of Canadian Grade 12 (Form Six or five O-levels plus at least two A-levels) or near-equivalent standing, high school transcript(s) and proof of graduation, post-secondary transcript(s) from all institutions attended, IELTS (Academic) - score of 6.5 or higher with a minimum band score of 6.0, TOEFL of 88 or higher (iBT) with no section below 20, CAEL - score of 70, PTE - score of 61 with 60 in writing, MELAB - score of 85, Cambridge - Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) min C, CanTEST - score of 4.5 with a minimum writing score of 4.0
