Biochemistry is a science that aims to study and understand the biological functions and chemical and physical properties of substances that form living organisms and interact with them. The program aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and practice biochemistry in general. It prepares them both for the job market and for pursuing graduate studies in biochemistry or related disciplines.

Hold a degree in natural or experimental sciences or engineering obtained outside Qu bec after at least thirteen (1) years of schooling or the equivalent. All candidates must have a proficiency in French attested by one of the following tests: the Uniform Test of French required to obtain the DEC, the written French test of the Quebec Ministry of Education or the written French test of UQAM
