Chemistry is the study of matter and is integral to understanding the physical world we live in. UFV s Bachelor of Science in Chemistry teaches you to apply the fundamental principles of chemistry to solve real-world problems. As part of your Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, you explore inorganic, organic, physical, and analytical chemistry, sharpen your critical-thinking skills, and learn to communicate your findings to others. You work with supportive professors, get hands-on experience in a well-equipped lab, and can find opportunities to conduct original research as early as your first year.
Must completed the equivalent of Canadian Grade 12 (Form Six or five O-levels plus at least two A-levels) or near-equivalent standing, high school transcript(s) and proof of graduation, post-secondary transcript(s) from all institutions attended, IELTS (Academic) - score of 6.5 or higher with a minimum band score of 6.0, TOEFL of 88 or higher (iBT) with no section below 20, CAEL - score of 70, PTE - score of 61 with 60 in writing, MELAB - score of 85, Cambridge - Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) min C, CanTEST - score of 4.5 with a minimum writing score of 4.0
