The program in Criminology focuses on the relationships between social inequalities, crime, and violence in contemporary society as well as on particular social groups in conflict with the law.It includes courses on the theories of criminology, the institutions of the criminal justice system, explanations of crime, crime and culture, racial profiling and policing in Canada, Indigenous people and the criminal justice system, youth and society, cults and new religious movements, state-corporate crime, and crime and the media.
Official high school transcripts or Official high school diploma officially translated copy in either English or French, English Proficiency Requirement: TOFEL-minimum score: 230 computer-based, 88 Internet-based; IELTS Academic-6.5 minimum overall for direct academic entry with no band score lower than 6; MELAB-minimum score: 80; CAE-C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a Cambridge English Score of 176 or more; Three years of full time senior-level studies in an English-language secondary school or post-secondary institution, resume or CV specifying current education and work experience, copy of a valid passport (both sides)
