In Dal s Gender and Women s Studies program, you ll develop a critical understanding of gender as a category of analysis in scholarly enquiry, social dynamics, cultural expression, and belief systems. You ll also investigate the ways that gender intersects with other variables such as race, class, and cultural difference. By studying both social and ideological forces, you ll understand why women s contributions have been invisible in the past.
