Bachelor of Arts Honours or General in Psychology

The courses cover such topics as: memory, motivation, and decision making; how the attitudes and actions of other people influence us; the origins and treatment of mental illness; human development from birth to death; and the way our cultural backgrounds shape the way we think and behave. The large and small lectures, seminars, and discussion groups offer opportunities for active learning, and for participation in field settings. The three-year General Psychology program provides a broad base of knowledge concerning many aspects of human behaviour and experience.
