Bachelor of Arts Honours Psychology and Creative Writing

The Psychology courses cover such topics as: memory, motivation, and decision making; how the attitudes and actions of other people influence us; the origins and treatment of mental illness; human development from birth to death; and the way our cultural backgrounds shape the way we think and behave. Our large and small lectures, seminars, and discussion groups offer opportunities for active learning, and for participation in field settings. In its combination of academic and hands-on creative writing courses, our Creative Writing degree program is one of only a few of its kind in Canada. We provide individual attention through both full-year workshops and topics courses, as well as from professionals in a supportive small-group environment.
