Program Overview

The program trains interpreters, choreographers and professional teachers. The first part of the program provides basic dance skills through core core courses, spread over approximately three semesters. The second part of the program is devoted to specialization in interpretation, creation or teaching. The concentration of artistic practices (interpretation or creation profile) leads to the production of two choreographic shows, one directed and the other free, open to the public. The teaching concentration also leads to a directed choreographic production and consists of four stages in primary and secondary schools.

Hold an appropriate diploma obtained outside Qu bec after at least thirteen (1) years of schooling or the equivalent, candidates must have reached the intermediate level in dance, Two Point Hearing, Technique (50%) Physical Abilities, Alignment, Ease and Coordination, Creation and interpretation (50%) creative ability, originality, interpretation
