Program Overview

The Visual Arts program offers in-depth studio practices and art history combined with exhibition opportunities and exposure to the cultural institutions of Windsor and Detroit. Our program includes courses in drawing, painting, print media, photography, sculpture, BioArt, film production and integrated media (digital imaging, sound and video). Individual studio space is available to you during Year 4.The BA in Music is designed for those captivated by music and its role in social and cultural life. This is a flexible program that will allow you to pursue the rigorous, academic study of a wide variety of musical genres with the option of including a hands-on studio experience with classical or contemporary music. This also includes classes for students who wish to pursue advanced, contemporary music making, including popular and electronic music and music technology. You can develop composition and performance skills that reflect the diversity and richness of these practices, challenge yourself to be a creative and reflective musician, and prepare yourself for a career in the rapidly evolving music industry.
