Program Overview

Turfgrass Science and Management is an applied science program that focuses on the production and maintenance of grassed areas, including home lawns, parks, golf courses and other athletic surfaces. This concentration integrates scientific theory with practical experience, and covers such topics as grass and seed identification, turfgrass culture and physiology, pest control, and equipment maintenance. Students in this concentration have the option of selecting a business management or a science focus. Many graduates find employment in the golf course industry, while others choose to specialize in sports turf management.

Highschool Diploma and Official Highschool Transcripts with good grades, School study or research plan in no less than 200 words, Recommendation letter written by professor/ associate professor, Letter of intent which is accepted by tutor, HSK certificate (for programs in Chinese, HSK 5 is required for humanities, HSK 4 over 210 for economics and management, HSK 4 over 195 for science and arts), TOEFL: 70, IELTS: 6.
