The main research contents of Printing Engineering are image-text information and its carrier. It mainly researches Image-Text Information Carrier, Image-Text Information Processing, Quality Control, Cross-media Electronic Publishing, the Theory and Technology of Web Publishing. This major aims at cultivating highly-qualified professional talents with the ability of image-text information acquisition and processing, the knowledge of printing engineering, the knowledge of principles and process of image reproduction, the knowledge of the theory of image-text information communication, the capability of printing production, organization and management in industrial production.
