School of Earth Sciences and Engineering, Nanjing University, is a polytechnic institute founded in January 2008 on the basis of the original Department of Earth Sciences. Now, it has three departments, Department of Earth Sciences, Department of Water Sciences and Department of Geological Engineering and Information Technology. The School of Earth Sciences and Engineering is one of the oldest geology educational programs in China.
